About Gemma

I am a Resolution Accredited Family Law & Divorce Solicitor. I have extensive experience in all areas of Family Law having worked almost exclusively in Family Law since 2009. Whilst specialising in all Private Family Law matters, I have a particular interest in finances on divorce & separation. From a personal perspective, my parents divorced when I was young. It was not as amicable as it could have been.

They did not have a great co-parenting relationship which resulted in me not having a relationship with my dad for a long time. This has influenced how I help my clients resolve any dispute. I am more aware of how separation can affect the whole family.

I therefore always minimise the acrimony and contention that can come with a separation. For this reason, I have always promoted an amicable approach, and this ultimately led to me founding Keats Family Law.

Keats Family Law is a Specialist Family Law & Divorce firm which provides a quality, family focused and tailored service at a cost-effective price.

My Approach - Tailored to you

I recognise that Family Law is personal. Everyone and their circumstance are different. That is why I tailor my approach to my clients and their families. I therefore take the time to listen to your concerns and what you want to achieve. From the start, I provide clear, honest, and realistic advice. Thereafter, I work hard to achieve a fair resolution tailored to your circumstances and goals

Keeping it amicable

I also recognise that a separation or divorce can be one of the most worrying and stressful times in someone’s life. However, it does not have to be full of conflict. I use my knowledge and experience to help focus on what matters to you to achieve the right outcome for you and your family whilst keeping it amicable.

As a member of Resolution, I am committed to the Resolution Code of Practice. This Code promotes a constructive and non-confrontational approach to disputes to reduce the conflict and to focus on the needs of the whole family. This Code sets the foundation for my commitment to Keeping it amicable.

In addition, I believe that Court proceedings can be avoided in most cases. That is why I promote approaching matters amicably.

Quality Service

Lastly, I am committed to providing a high standard of service. I therefore pride myself on my high-level of client care and communication. I will therefore always be your first point of contact.
