About Vanessa

Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck or uncertain in your relationship, separation or divorce?

Working with me means you don’t have to navigate it alone. I offer calm, structured support and expert strategies through some of life’s most demanding transitions, helping you to understand what is happening, think more clearly and move forward with confidence.

I offer a considered, experienced approach to complex relationship situations. I am a Certified Relationship & Divorce Master Coach with specialist training in domestic abuse. My work is rooted in both personal experience and professional training, giving me a strong understanding of relationship breakdown, separation and divorce.

Having navigated my own relationship breakdown, I understand first-hand how complex, disorientating, and emotionally demanding this period can be, particularly in situations involving high conflict, emotional strain, or abusive dynamics.

What led me to this work was not only the experience itself, but the realisation that with the right support, communication techniques and perspective, it is possible to move through even the most challenging circumstances with greater clarity and strength. I chose to formally train and build a professional coaching practice so that I could offer others the kind of structured, thoughtful support that is often missing at this time.

Clients choose to work with me because I offer more than emotional support. I provide a calm, objective space alongside clear, practical guidance. This can help you step back from overwhelm, think clearly, and approach your situation in a more considered way.

With a deep understanding of relationship breakdown, including high-conflict and emotionally complex situations, I bring both empathy and structure to the work. My focus is on helping you make sense of what is happening, understand your options, and move forward in a way that feels considered and in control.

I work from where you are, at your pace: offering insight, practical strategies, and clear thinking to support informed decision-making. This is not about quick fixes, but about building clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of direction. My role is not to push you towards a particular outcome, but to guide you so that you feel more grounded, confident, and able to make considered decisions for yourself, rather than reactive ones. Most clients come to me at a point where they feel unable to think clearly about their situation. Emotions are high, decisions feel difficult, and the way forward is uncertain. I support clients across the UK and internationally, both virtually and in person.

I am passionate about ongoing professional development and continuing to deepen my understanding of relationship dynamics, emotional wellbeing, healthy relationships, and emotional resilience. As a result, I am regularly trusted by professionals and the media, and referred within legal and advisory networks. I also have particular experience supporting clients where neurodivergence is a factor within the relationship, allowing for more nuanced and tailored support where needed.

My approach is calm and structured, giving you support and expert strategies to help you understand what is happening, think more clearly and move forward with confidence. While we begin with an initial session, meaningful progress is usually made by working together over several sessions, allowing us to better understand your situation and move things forward in a structured way.

I combine emotional support with practical guidance, helping you not only process what is happening, but also understand your situation more clearly, feel more empowered to take considered steps forward. You are supported, but also guided. The aim is always to leave each session with greater clarity, stronger decision-making and a clearer sense of control over what comes next.

Testimonials

“The first step to seeking help can feel daunting, but from Vanessa’s very first email, it was clear I was in very good hands. I didn’t even know divorce coaches existed, but now I’m very glad they do.”

“I would highly recommend Vanessa, she has the human touch. Despite having been through an abusive relationship herself, she does not make it about her and instead brings a wealth of empathy and genuine understanding. I felt heard and understood, which was crucial during such a difficult time. Not only was I listened to, but I was also guided towards a path forward. I have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone in need of support.”

“Vanessa was a lifesaver for me when I was in the midst of such personal confusion. Her time and guidance were invaluable.”
