About Wendy

There are times when relationships hit a difficult time, and you don’t seem able to resolve it. You may feel that you ‘should’ be able to fix it yourself and the thought of working with a professional can feeling really daunting.

I have been working with individuals and couples for the past 15 years, I don’t take sides, as remaining impartial and offering a different perspective is much more helpful, It’s not my role to trying to fix a relationship, but instead I offer a non-judgmental safe space where you can share the concerns and worries that keep you awake at night. I help and support you to communicate better, and decide on the outcome you want.

Not all relationships are meant to be, and when it breaks down, it can result in many mixed emotions, especially those relating to loss and grief - even if you are the one who ended it. It’s normal to feel anger, sadness, and depression. As well as feelings of emptiness.

Your confidence may have hit rock bottom and feel that will be alone for the rest of your life. That’s where I can help. As a fully qualified psychotherapist MBACP.Accred. Adv. Dip. Counselling.

I offer a free 30 minute call, in which we can discuss whether I’m the best person for you.

“Before working with Wendy there was family discourse. We weren’t communicating well, and that added to the problems. After 3 months things have changed immensely, We have both worked through our issues, communication has improved.

We are working as a parenting team providing a united front for the children to experience. We now feel we have a better understanding of each other’s feelings, and made us think and look at the root causes. We felt we were equally and fairly listened to in the sessions Challenges to certain behaviours were delivered in a gentle way. We feel we are able to walk through the front door, feeling a nice atmosphere. J & A

“ We have been married for nearly 20 years and love each other very much but had let the stresses of work, family illness and teenage children get in the way of our relationship which had reached breaking point. We started working with Wendy and very quickly realised that we had been neglecting “our” relationship for years.

We worked through some really difficult situations but Wendy never took sides and really helped us to listen to each other and learn to compromise. She has helped us to see things in a new light and also different ways to handle certain situations.

Most of all we have learned that making time for ourselves as a couple is key. Talking through your problems really does help and we would thoroughly recommend Wendy to anyone.” S & P
