About Laura

Here at Burd Ward we are aware of the sensitive nature of family disputes. We aim to support our clients through this difficult time whilst providing quality legal advice.

I graduated from the University of Liverpool with an honours degree in law in 2010 and I have a diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law in Christleton, Chester.

I qualified as a solicitor in 2012 and in July 2014 I was accredited as a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel reflecting my knowledge and experience of dealing with children’s law. In 2018 I became a director at BurdWard Solicitors.

My experience covers a variety of family law issues including:

Divorce
Arrangements for children including where they will live and the time they will spend with each parent
Injunctions
Issues arising following separation
Domestic violence
Financial arrangements following divorce or separation
Wills and probate.
