About Joanne

I am an Associate Solicitor in the Family law department at Brabners LLP. We are a law firm with offices in Manchester, Preston and Liverpool. We assist and support clients across England and Wales with their family law issues. I specialise in all aspects of family law, including disputes relating to children (such as arrangements for where a child should live and the time they should spend with each parent), separation and divorce, civil partnerships, financial settlements, prenuptial agreements and cohabitation disputes.

I am an accredited family law specialist on the Law Society’s Family Law Panel. I am also a trained collaborative law practitioner and as a result can help clients who wish to use this alternative form of dispute resolution, which allows them to resolve difficulties outside of court. I am the Chair of the Manchester YRes Committee for family lawyers and I regularly give lectures to other professionals and mentor law students considering a career in family law. I pride myself on providing a high level of client care and my focus is on providing clear and practical advice.
