About Julia

I am a specialist divorce and family solicitor. I set up my practice in 2011 to offer clients a better way of resolving their family law issues without the hefty pricetags of instructing a city centre firm.

Where it is possible I always endeavour to help my clients to resolve their issues away from court, by way of negotiation, mediation or roundtable meetings. I am a true believer that as a family solicitor I am there not only to provide you with legal advice, but to provide you with support, and to help make things better.

I will also help you and your former partner separate with dignity whilst looking at your most important asset, your children! If however Court proceedings are necessary, I will represent your case vigourously through the courts.

Advocacy is an area that I particularly enjoy and where possible I will represent my clients myself from the beginning to the very end of their case. If this is not possible, or if the case is particularly complex then over the years I have gathered together a network of other fellow professionals including highly competent barristers, financial experts, and mediators which means that my clients can be confident that they are getting the very best of assistance with their case.

As a keen mathematician, finances and their resolution are a particular forte of mine. My love of numbers comes in particularly useful for my clients when examining complex financial situations and helping track down assets.

I can advise and assist you on all family issues, including how to restructure your family’s finances and arrangements for children to spend time with both parents and other family members. I also advise on the legal aspects of formalising your separation, for example through divorce.

Wealth preservation is an area of family law which is increasing in demand, and I am frequently instructed by clients in the preparation of premarital and cohabitation agreements.

I am a member of resolution, and have achieved accredited specialist status with them in relation to both cohabitee disputes and private children law matters. My practice features in the legal 500, and was honoured to be nominated as Best family law firm in the UK ( lawyer monthly magazine in 2015).

But forget all that .... To me my biggest strength is that I listen to my clients. You remain in control of your case and I will always do my best to achieve your objectives.
