About Helen
I work with a range of different clients and families across the Altrincham area.
Hardworking and tactically minded, I combine knowledge and experience with empathy to ensure my clients know they are in safe hands and supported.
I am one of only a handful of lawyers in the Greater Manchester area that has achieved Resolution’s Specialist Accreditation. This demonstrates my expertise of working in a way that limits or prevents conflict and distress throughout the divorce process, avoiding litigation wherever possible.
My focus is on complex financial settlements on divorce or separation, frequently involving the valuation of family businesses both in the UK and overseas, family trusts and overseas/off-shore assets.
I also have extensive experience of resolving issues relating to the arrangements for children, including advising parents, step-parents, same-sex parents and grandparents, with court proceedings when required.
I believe in a holistic approach and work closely with local counsellors and mediators to explore out-of-court settlements, promoting communication and achieving lasting agreements. The Legal 500 describes me as a family lawyer who ‘takes special care of her clients.’
