I used to call myself “The Emotional Spender.” After years of bullying and eating disorders, I overspent whilst earning a high salary in an attempt to fill a void in my life. I understand what it's like to deal with emotional trauma. I turned my life around and now help women to do the same.
I am a qualified financial adviser and became very frustrated with the financial jargon in the industry and lack of women in the profession. I created The Money Panel to help demystify all things financial and to help educate women.
As a financial coach and financial planner I help women to identify their money habits and look after their financial wellbeing when they’re going through emotional turmoil such as divorce.
We build a financial plan together to provide you with the confidence to make those important decisions when you are going through a divorce. I can also give advice on pension sharing orders. In 2018, I was nominated for 3 Awards in the Women In Financial Services Awards and became a best selling author in 2019 with a collaboration book ‘The woman I’m becoming,” to inspire young women who suffer with life challenges.
“Catherine is warm, friendly and approachable. The money panel is a much needed service, filling a gap in the market, offering straight forward and simplified financial advice. I would highly recommend Catherine for those who need help to manage their finances.” Sarah Annis
“My first session with Catherine will pay for the whole programme many times over!” Lisa Wynn
