Divorce and Breakup Coach

About Allison

I’m Allison Greenfield and I know what you’re going through right now. I’m an accredited divorce and breakup coach who has personal experience of not just the heartbreak and the uncertainty… but the overwhelm of it all. I’m here to guide and support you through the “what happens next?”, the financial fear, the guilt, the heartbreak. I specialise in supporting people going through a breakup in midlife, which can be especially overwhelming when you might have other ‘lifebombs’ being thrown at you.

Divorce isn’t just paperwork; it’s the unraveling of life as you knew it - emotionally, mentally, and sometimes financially. It is a time of great change, accompanied by overwhelming emotions. It is a marathon, not a sprint. And just like any endurance challenge, it requires preparation, resilience, and the right support.

I’ve been there. And I want you to know that, although some days it might feel like it, it’s not the end - it's the beginning of your next act and a chance to create it the way you want.

As a divorce coach, I help people move through the mess and into clarity without judgement or pressure. My job is to provide you with calm, focused support, so you don’t feel like you're drowning anymore. You don’t have to figure it all out in one go. Together, we’ll untangle the knots - from the practical (money, communication with your ex, co-parenting) to the emotional (grief, guilt, fear, freedom). Unlike therapy, which often centres on unpacking past experiences and emotional pain, coaching helps you build momentum by focusing on your strengths, setting clear goals, and creating an action plan for positive change.

I’m here to help you at any stage of your breakup. Whether you are: •

  • considering leaving your relationship and want to explore your options. •
  • decided to leave but feel unsure about the next steps.
  • in shock from your breakup and need proven strategies to manage overwhelming emotions. •
  • need practical strategies for communicating and co-parenting effectively with your ex.
  • in the middle or past the breakup, but feel lost and uncertain about your future.
  • feeling emotionally drained and want to rebuild your confidence and self-esteem.
  •  through your breakup and need some help to create your second act.

How I can help

  • Make sense of the emotional chaos with strategies to help dial down the pain.
  • Consider what you really want with tools designed to give you clarity.
  • Plan practical steps towards divorce
  • Prepare for tough conversations  with your ex, children, or family.
  • Navigate financial fears and find stability.
  • Communicate with your solicitor more effectively.
  • Offer strategies to help you co-parent without conflict.
  • Find your voice, establish your boundaries and rebuild your self-esteem.
  • Avoid making fear-based or expensive mistakes - you won’t want to go into sessions with your (expensive) solicitor feeling emotional and unclear about what you need.
  • Save your energy, money, and sanity through a clear plan. Coaching is a chance to invest in yourself – you're already spending so much energy trying to hold it all together. I will help you channel your energy into a plan that helps you feel in control.

A breakup can feel like the end, but with the right help and support, it can also be a beginning.
